This new updated layout sucks ass. How do I set it back to normal?

  I think you need to reinstall the former version. As far as I know there is no way to set it back. I saw it in time and didn't update it yet.

  Download version 205.15 it's the version of discord before the UI change

  You can also just google or YouTube how to install the old version if you don't trust this random ass link from a stranger
