New Mobile UI Swipe Gestures

In the new mobile UI, a swipe left on the text box should open the members list, while a swipe anywhere above should continue to activate swipe to reply. 

I have attached an image. Swiping left in the green box should activate swipe to reply, while swiping left in the red box should show the members list, leaving space for the iOS app switcher system gesture at the very bottom.
