App frequently becomes unresponsive after new update

Regularly, the box to enter text just doesn’t show up when I try to type a message. I’ve even had the whole app freeze and crash several times. Please just revert this inaccessible, confusing, and glitch-filled update. I miss the old update with lower contrast theme options that were less strenuous on my eyes, easier searching and ability to see online server members, and less technical issues.

  The new UI is just horrible.
