New Mobile UI bypassed "No Auto Updates" settings -- consistently crashing, motion sickness, eyestrstrain

Hello again.

I don't know how Discord did it but they bypassed my “no auto updates” settings and forced this new horrible UI on me.

Within 2 minutes of using it I had severe motion sickness and horrible eyestrain which lead to a headache.

Not only that, I tried to type a message to a friend and it crashed. 5 times. After every. Single. Word.

Not only is this new UI anti-user friendly, causing people with motion sickness like me to become ill when using it despite stationary and causing headaches, it also doesn't work.

At all.

Grow up and let us switch back to the old UI. Accept you failed. I will be finding a number to call to file a verbal complaint and reporting the fact Discord bypassed my update settings against my will to Google Play.

  This happened to me as well, except on IOS. I'm really frustrated with this UI and hope it gets rid of soon. It's the worst thing I've ever seen. Can't believe they're still trying to enforce this horrendous UI so much even though people have been begging for the old one back without fail since the day they released it…
