I am making this serious post to propose for the discord community,

The possibility of recovering badges from old programs.

let me explain,

Currently Discord has a 0 tolerance policy for any badge recovery for any program.

for me there should be exemptions for the possibility that some users can recover it.

for example for the old Hypesquad Event program it is easy to prove that we were there well on it
(by providing old emails, give your first and last name, what you said in the video that was requested)

this should be enough to prove that we were indeed the community program.
and for me it seems logical to be able to recover a lost badge because you were hacked for example.
(Deactivated accounts should also be able to request to recover it on their new account.)

just like the certified developer badge that over time many people have lost it after having had a member suddenly hacked and for example malicious users have fun causing the bot to lose its certification.

For me it seems logical to be able to make a request to be able to recover it and that we know that Discord and are able to know if Discord users really had it or not but they just don't want to make the effort to investigate.

in short, discord should allow certain situations to allow users from ancient times to recover what was lost over time or through their naivety.
