So about that new UI update... let's try again

Today Discord released its Desktop Visual Refresh!

And I've noticed a lot of negative feedback towards it.

This feedback post is here to allow the developers to get a feel of the public's general sentiment towards this new UI update. Each upvote this post gets is one user who is dissatisfied with the update and wants it reverted. We request that Discord finally listen to user feedback instead of repeatedly pushing unwanted UI updates that make the user experience worse. Other written feedback should be put in the comments.
