I didn't see this anywhere but I am part of several RP pages on Discord and it would be nice to be able to have a custom avatar per server. You can change your name on a server but not your avatar. People tend to recognize people by their character, and being able to show each character on each server would be nice.

    I hate it when Discord tells us to submit ideas here and then they just... ignore them. This has 4k upvotes and has been up for years but still nothing.

    I really need this. I'm a teacher using Discord as the main comunication medium, but I had to change my pic because It wouldn't be ok to have a game avatar, right? But the thing is, I also don't want to show my face on random servers.

    I also don't want to have multiple accounts :sad:

    We already have different nicknames per server, how hard would it be to add a different URL for each?

    This is one feature I would pay for Nitro to get.

    Devs this has been requested for over 2 years now, why hasn't it been implemented? It can't be too hard to do since we can already change our names per server so changing avatar per server should be a similar process. Please get this implemented

    Even if this was made a nitro perk! It’s ridiculous it’s not a thing. I like joking about in some servers by changing my name and picture and it doesn’t make sense in the others. Please make this a feature!!!!

    Pleaseeee make this a feature! 2 picture max would be fine. One with an avatar for random servers and another for more serious work-based or personal servers

    As the person above said, I would be fine with only having two PFPs. I mean, GroupMe manages to make individual PFP's per chat work, so I think Discord should definitely look into it.

    As we continue to use Discord for lots of different reasons -- RP, work, general socializing, specific-interest socializing -- and reflect our different identities with per-server nicknames, it only makes sense to also allow us to do so with per-server avatars. Please make this a feature. Thank you!

    Yes! I’m in so many Discord servers, I just want to use different avatars for each one. I’m in several RP servers, and my icon just doesn’t fit for all of them. It would be so much easier for me if I could have avatars for the characters I’m playing, whether characters from a series or an OC. Please make this a reality. It would make a lot of us happy.
