I didn't see this anywhere but I am part of several RP pages on Discord and it would be nice to be able to have a custom avatar per server. You can change your name on a server but not your avatar. People tend to recognize people by their character, and being able to show each character on each server would be nice.

    DO THIS! This can also be used to prevent people from abusing the profile pic system to use inappropriate profile pictures. As a server owner i would like to be able to Change the profile pic of a user (in my guild) if I deem it as inappropriate, the same way as the "Change Nickname" system is used. This should also be opened up to developers so we can either change the avatar of a user in the guild or remove/hide it completely.

    The changes would only apply to the guild that changes it. So if i change someones avatar on my guild, if they are on another guild, their avatar wont change.

    Yeah this would be helpful. I use my real face, which is fine for most servers, but there's some I'd rather it not be there if I had a choice.

    Please yes! I use discord for severs that are work related, in those I want my real face. And I also use discord for servers that are not work related and I would love a different avatar!

    This is a no-brainer next feature to implement. You already have different nickname per server, nickname is about identity, profile pic is also identity, currently there is a disconnect between user identities. I'd almost call this a UX bug as opposed to a feature. Discord rules, you guys crush it at UX, please prioritize this one!

    Yes this would be excellent, I know at least a few users that rotate avatars frequently based on what hat they need to wear in what server.  Make it a nitro feature if needed

    Giving everyone access to this wouldn’t work very well. This would be cool for verified or partnered servers though, or as a server boosting perk, so for like game servers they can make it avatars based off of the game’s avatars or skins.

    YES PLEASE!

    Considering that whole "by gamers for gamers" attitude it's ridiculous this feature isn't implemented since the big idea behind discord is being a part of different gaming communities at the same time.
    This necessarily creates the need to adjust the avatar to each gaming environment!

    WE NEED THIS SO BAD!! I am in several Role-Play Servers and I cannot handle being unable to have server-specific avatars!

    It could be like changing nicknames per server!! Free of charge and totally convenient...!

    Please, Discord... Me and so many others agree...

    Although this issue has the most comments, it is far from having the most votes. I guess that is why it is lower priority. I don't know how so many other issues got so many more votes than this one, without much commenting under them. Makes me wonder...

    100% needed!!!! I am running a couple servers for multiple RGP games. We would love our avatars to match the character in each game setting rather than our main profile pic. Please Please Please make this available!
