Overkay on desktop?

I've been using Discord for several years and for majority of that time I have had 2 monitors. While the discord window looks very nice I would like to be able to have a Discord Overlay on my desktop so that way I could see my background while I am still able to see what server I'm in and who else is in it with me. Also I'm sure there is a way to add in a chat that shows up only when someone is using it. You guys have made discord look pretty good so y'all shouldn't have a hard time to do this and make it look really nice.
