Jumping to Old Posts and Editing Them

Hello!

I know the functionality to edit old posts does exists, but I'm hoping for it to be expanded on if possible. Currently on Discord Mobile, the only way to edit an old post is to scroll up to it.

I have pinned messages on servers I would like to jump to or even through the search history in a conversation/server, but when I jump to the message it does not provide me the option to edit it. The only way I can edit the post is if I scroll all the way up to it, which can take quite some time if the post is about a year or so old.

Perhaps I am missing something, but if not I think it would be a really nice function to add. Thank you!

  Agreed, but I'd go a step further. Why should it be required to even jump to a post to edit? All post features, including hyperlink-tapping, text copying, and editing, should be available when merely viewing a pinned post.
