Free gifted nitro not ending?

The nitro that was gifted to a friend that i got for free from hypesquad was supposed to end today. their expiration had been extended to Feb 19th instead of Jan 19th. is this a glitch? another friend who had theirs from the 21st still has it for Jan 21st.

I have the same issue, me and a friend traded the codes to each other and a few days ago when a notification popped up that said my free month was going to end, I made sure that it wasn't going to activate any subscriptions, I haven't even added any payment method to my account. But when I checked my subscription to see when it would end today, it said it would actually end on February 19th. I hope this is just some glitch that can be taken off the account easily because I do not want to pay 10 dollars for something I did not want. I already canceled it but it just says it's still gonna go to February.

A thing is, its not just this one person. anyone i saw who had theirs gifted at the 19th had it happen to them. Thats one reason im wondering if its a glitch with the gift subscription itself. My original friend definitely did not have payment set up.

It should automatically cancel after 2-3 days if you didn't add a payment method otherwise it could be a glitch.

Yeah, I canceled mine because I thought Discord would start charging but I guess it must be some kind of glitch that hopefully the discord team will look into qaq
