Show the in app notifications a bit down or a bit up.

The in app notifications come right in place of the new messages banner on Android. Many times, when I go to click the 'x' button on the banner,the in app notification comes up and takes me to the message. This is very irritating (at least to me). If the in app notifications would appear a bit above or a bit below the banner, it'd probably solve this problem.
