Disabling Red Dot Notifications

The red dot next to discord icon being present in the system tray means we have a message right?

Basically, I want to be able to benefit from the visual non-popup notifications for when people close to me send a message. However the red dot is constantly on for my discord because I'm in 2 community channels for a game. This also makes the SteelSeries app of keyboard light flash useless since every community message flashes it.

I actively toggle the mute on these channels for certain times when I want to pay more attention to other stuff. Is there a way to disable the red dot notifications too?
