Redesign the Discord homepage for a better User Experience
A website for any company is one of the best ways for a company to promote and advertise itself, and in many cases it's an opportunity that might only last under 10 seconds before a potential customer gets bored and walks away - and you've then lost your chance.
Currently, this is a major problem facing the Discord homepage - it really doesn't do a great job of drawing in a passing visitor and keeping them interested in actually trying out Discord... Because it doesn't even explain what Discord is and why I should use it. Many people might not even know what Skype and TeamSpeak are so wouldn't have a clue why they should switch.
So, my suggestion is to redesign the Discord homepage to have a better focus on UI/UX and provide a better "journey" from landing on the homepage to actually knowing what Discord is, to creating an account and trying it out. Right now, based on the current site I wouldn't have a clue what Discord is, let alone how to create myself an account to get started.
There's too many confusing buttons that duplicate features, yet not even one that says "Ready to get started? Create your account now!".
If the homepage UI/UX was improved with a redesign, it could offer a better user journey and attract more users onto the platform.

Yes! For new users who haven’t made an account, it is unclear where to make an account. The `Login` and `Open Discord in your browser` buttons make it seem like you need to have an account to use Discord, but have very little indication of where to go to create an account! 1 -
Indeed. This is something that Discord hasn't done a great job with for a very long time.
Even now, it's still not exactly clear how a user can create a new account, since there's no obvious "Sign Up" or "Register" buttons, links or anything else. In actual fact, it sort of makes it look like Discord doesn't let you create a new account!

I agree.
Found: "All-in-one voice and text chat for gamers that's free, secure, and works on both your desktop and phone."
It's really a visually nosy site. I like the cuteness, just need to dial down the clutter. I guess it will sort out eventually what their main USP is- right now it seems like they are broadly trying to be a lot of things.
Looks like their main CTA is to download the app.
