Very pale font colour

The font colour in the texting window is too pale. This has happened twice now after updating the app. The font in the window where you're supposed to write your message is a very pale grey(and combined with the fact that the background is white, it's very hard to see what you're writing). I noticed this is only in dark mode, but I don't use the app in light mode so this is making it very difficult to type without making mistakes or straining my eyes. The last time it happened there were some posts about it but now I'm not seeing anything.
