Am I repsonible for enforcing the discord ToS and guidelines?

So I'm a proud owner of an almost 500 member server. But I never really looked into moderation and don't have many members who are able to moderate the servers. So if somebody breaks the ToS or guidelines do I have to ban them? If so, is there any punishment if I don't?

  If they break TOS, and get warned by discord or deleted you don't need to punish them. If they did something that broke a tos rule in your server, I THINK your server will get taken down, guessing how bad the issue is. But It would be a good idea to enforce following of guidelines and tos. :) Also you're not responsible for their actions on the app, so don't worry.

  The partnered servers are an exception, though. In those, you are expected to cooperate with discord staff.

  Your server will absolutely not be banned if someone breaks a rule in it. No clue why anyone would think that?
