Allow us to hide messages without blocing a user

I really wish Discord would allow me to hide a message without blocking the user. This is important to me as I am at higher risk to get seizures and often times people send very flashy emojis. At this point in time I delete the message (if it is on my server) and if not I just have to move away from the channel until the message is gone. Hiding messages would be useful for multiple reasons but people that suffer from the same condition I do would be really grateful.
