gif bug/glitch?
i noticed a glitch in some gifs. Normally, when you use a gif, the link will show up, then dissapear and the gif will appear playing, but in some gifs, only the link will show, but the gif won't play in the chat. What is causing this? Is it possible to fix it?

this is not a bug, it depends on the level of server moderation, if the server is highly moderated and you throw a gif where there is a lot of flesh color, then the system considers open body parts and does not show the gif.

oh yeah, it keeps breaking in one server, but it works in another one. So that is why...

depends on the server moderation level.

The discord neural network recognizes gifs / pictures by the number of color pigments; therefore, depending on the level of filtration, they may appear in text channels, and in some they may not, this is normal. everything is decided by the level of moderation on the server.

weird, also, in some servers, the gifs glitch out only in specified channels and worked in other channels (example: gif does not show in bot-commands and does show in general), what is causing this gif bug?

uploading it to giphy made my life much easier. No glitches, embeds as if it was directly uploaded, and easier to share everywhere else
