Sticker animations in text box can’t be disabled and ignore accessibility settings

Having moving / flashing / animated parts of the UI that can’t be disabled and ignore accessibility settings (which are supposed to turn off these behaviours) is really bad. I’ve seen this problem elsewhere (like Twitch for example) and it’s literally an ADA lawsuit waiting to happen. I’m ND and it gives me a headache almost instantly, I would really appreciate it if there was an option to disable this. I suppose I could just stop using the application and keep it in a browser so as to be able to block offending elements, but that’s not great.

    update: given that it’s a Canada only softlaunch the behaviour stops if you use a VPN to change your location to elsewhere. sucks but, easiest solution for now. if it’s not addressed by the time it gets rolled out I’ll think of something else

    I agree. This is an obnoxious growth hacking user hostile design. Please remove.
