there is no confirmation when changing your password.

This is very dangerous. The Change Password screen only asks you for your old password and a single instance of your new password.

If you suffer any typo inputting your new password, you will then be unable to change it, and you will not know what the new value is.

It should require you to input the new value twice to protect against typos, capslock etc
