Discord: Pop-Out Direct Message.
The idea is while in a Direct Message (DM) Voice/Video call, to be able to "Pop-Out" the DM from Discord and also be able to view other DMs/servers at the same time.
Example: The video/voice call begins, a user can select to "Pop-Out" the DM from Discord, (Similar to how on Twitch, you can "Pop-Out" the chat.) The user can then proceed to viewing other Discord servers/DM(s) while still having the video/voice call DM "Popped-Out", without having the user going back and forth from the DM call to other Discord servers/DMs/Etc.
I recommend this feature because I personally would rather chat with my voice with someone one-on-one, while he/she chats via messages. So instead of going back and forth from the DM call and seeing what he/she wrote, I'll always have it "Popped-Out" while still doing other things on Discord.
Thank you for reading/listening! I appreciate it.

is this similar to what you are looking for?

Kind of. But, basically it would look as if "two" Discords were open at once. One Discord window would be all of Discord showing your servers and everything else, the other Discord window would just have the Voice/Video DM call that the user would be in. It would be "Popped-Out" from your normal Discord application.
To put into comparison, it's as if you were using Google Chrome and you would drag the tab (This would be the Voice/Video DM call) out from Google Chrome, but still would be able to use Google Chrome for anything else. There would now be two Google Chrome applications open at one time.
I hope that makes sense.4 -
There is now a similar process for when you are videochatting with people. I'm hoping that the Discord team applies something similar with just texting so we can have it up at the same time as doing something else.

I was just looking on Google to see if this exists! Would be great if they add this. An alternative might be to have the possibility to collapse the sidebar (showing either your chats or channels) so you can make your window smaller.
