Banner Customisation for Individual Channel

TL:DR - Allow banners for each channel to help with immersion and make the interface more vibrant.

The idea came to me when the various leaders in my gaming group need to recruit members for their individual settlement.

Currently we have a single unified server for the entire gaming group, but I hope we can make it more immersive even when we are just using Discord. The only option we have right now is a banner for the entire server. But it is too small compared to the monotone background of the entire interface, and it almost look like a pop up ad.

Sure, we could make separate servers for each settlement. But that kind of defeat the purpose of a unified server in the first place – to facilitate the flow of information.

So if there is an option to add a backdrop to each discord channel, we could customise them with a picture or artwork that reflects the nature or purpose of the channel. And it makes the interface a lot more interesting.
