Ability to Disable/Mute Role Pinging/Notifications
Many servers give users roles which other users can then mention (@role). These role mentions are not affected by Server Mute, setting Server Notification Settings to Nothing, Suppressing @everyone and @here, or even muting a specific channel in its own settings. The only possible ways for you to avoid getting pinged is to completely block whatever user is sending them (only effective if a specific few users are pinging roles and you don't mind not seeing their messages), or to leave the server.
This issue may not be a problem for some users, as they aren't in very many servers, or the servers they are in do not use this 'feature,' but for many, this is not the case, and it can be very annoying. Even if you have notifications muted Discord-wide, it will still pop up as a ping on the server icon/channel, and in turn, the taskbar icon. As someone who would rather not have to clear each server's pings daily, this renders useless an otherwise very useful feature of seeing the number of pings from the taskbar, as it is always at 9+.
I imagine it could be a simple switch option within a server's Notification Settings between
"Suppress @everyone and @here" and "Mobile Push Notifications"

im constantly getting ghost pings from one of my servers, and we still don't know who is doing it. I've attempted to mute everything on the server but im still getting pinged. PLEASE add this feature

Please implement this or make it if a role I'm in pings from a channel I have muted that I don't get notified.

Just another extremely obvious and basic feature that is missing from Discord, because the Discord team doesn't care about what their users really want. It's mind-boggling this wasn't there from the start.

Please add this, Pings are highly distracting when i'm trying to work. While you're at it, make Replies default to NOT mentioning the target. People accidentally ping me all the time using this feature. I created a punishment system within my server to combat this. It needs to be done. Make it so!

Please implement this. I'm getting so many pings from a certain server that I'm considering leaving it because it seems to be the only way to avoid it, but then I wouldn't be able to see the messages I do want to see. People have been asking for this for two years. Would it be possible to do it?
