Add via phone number

Before everyone starts down voting: YES I KNOW THERE'S A LOT OF PEDOPHILES OUT THERE PLEASE READ BEFORE VOTING!!!

So, add via phone number. By that I mean one could have the ability to add their phone number to their account and everyone who's got their number can add them using that number instead of the nametag.
And then you can toggle who can see your number i.e. "Friends of Friends", "Friends only", "No One"/"Private". NOT PUBLIC, PUBLIC SHOULD NOT BE AN OPTION!!!

If there are any questions left don't down vote ask in the comments below.

Edit: Maybe add a section in the settings letting you manage all the different ways of adding you as a friend and what to show to whom.

  As long as the number is not public, and only as an option to add my friends,
  I think this is an amazing idea.

  I do not see a reason not to use numbers,
  It's much more comfortable and faster...

  Anyone see a reason not to use numbers? Or even email addresses? (That we already have?)
