Screenshare user interface unintuitive and unusable

Full screen doesn't make the target full screen, clicking on a focused person will unfocus them, but clicking on an unfocused person will not focus them, can not focus a person unless you are in full screen, among other problems. The user interface before the latest update did everything fine, but now I can't even find out how to make the one person screen sharing take up the whole screen, something that took a single click previously.

  And now the ability to see if someone in a call is muted without hovering over them has been removed. The user interface is getting worse day by day, maybe consider the pros and cons of a change before implementing them.
