Crackling sound when people talk

I had a call with a friend and every time they talked a crackling sound came up, this hasn't happened before the new update. Has anyone else had this issue?

  I have had this issue since like 2 months back although it doesn't crackle all the time for me, did you ever find a fix or did it just go away?
