New UI is infuriating and unpleasing
I was very proud of the way Discord's UI was set up in the past, with it being extremely easy to go from one text channel or even server to another within a second or to easily swap from a server to DMs, and you were able to easily see when there was a new message sent. But with the new update, the UI has changed, and for the worse. Now by default, all you can see is the text channel you're in, and you can't see different channels and servers unless you pull a separate tab up that takes up half your screen and makes you unable to further interact with chat until you close it. It's now unnecessarily difficult to use Discord, especially for people who are in and/or run multiple servers and is infuriating many users to the point where they are considering not using Discord until the UI is fixed.

I agree 100%, this new interface is just a giant mess !
In french we say better is often worst than good !
Moreover, this new interface is NOT ADAPTED AT ALL for a tablet (almost my Galaxy Tab (2016)). In landscape mode, the second column use almost 50% of the whole screen surface ! This is RIDICULOUS. In fact, when I first saw that, I could'nt believe it was intended and I opened a bug ticket including a screenshot. But the support team answer to me, they are sorry I don't like the new interface !!! This is a bad joke guys ! NOBODY using a tablet in landscape mode with the same behaviors and design can like such a ENORMOUS MESS. I remain persuaded that what I have, IS ABNORMAL and not wanted by Discord devs.
Please, make your new interface to really support tablet in landscape mode !!! If you really want to keep this bad move, almost offer to users, an option to select the interface type most adapted to their usage of Discord and taste.
I also use Discord on my game PC, the interface still behave as before and these behaviors and design are just perfect for a tablet too.
Please fix this mess !

I think you should be able to choose the ui, like settings -> ui -> old / new

Hok_, this exactly the improvment I suggest in my previous message, because I can tell to you that this is not possible in the present Android version 20.5. YOU DON'T HAVE ACTUALLY ANY INTERFACE SETTINGS.

C'est exactement ce que je regrette, étant sur tablette la nouvelle mise a jour est insupportable et nuit gravement a la lisibilité de discord. Avant nous pouvions voir ce qu'il se passait un peu partout, les dm, les serveurs... C'est franchement regrettable. Comme la dis les commentaires au dessus il faudrais pouvoir choisir la configuration de l'interface.

The new UI is super dizzying and even nauseous to other users, and discord doesn't seem to be doing anything to fix it. I have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling the app to get drawers back. It's ridiculous! I shouldn't have to fight an app for control of my workspace! Please fix it Discord, I don't want to have to ditch this app because it gives me a headache every time I switch chats.

I agree with all of the above and it seems like a lot of other users do as well from friends I've asked and looking at reviews on the app. Everything feels so clunky, and not so sleek and easy to use like it used to be. I've been a discord user for years and I liked the "skinnier"/more slim look. Everything feels very thick and bubbly now which makes mobile feel very blown up. If I could go back a few updates, I would.
