More love for the Linux client
As of now, there are several features on Discord which are lacking from the Linux client. The features I am missing all related to voice chat and streaming. Things like hardware encoding, streaming audio and streaming one screen are all things that are lacking from the Linux client.
Streams on Linux are handled by the CPU, whereas on Windows you have the option to put the load over on the GPU. The lack of this is quite annoying as my CPU often spikes up to 70% usage when watching streams, which gets very annoying, especially when I do other stuff which also uses the CPU, like playing other games - and especially when streaming them myself.
Streaming audio on Linux is not possible at the moment without using a loopback, which is very fiddly and annoying to get working properly. Having seen programs like OBS being able to do this without issues definitely shows that this isn't an impossible thing, and being able to stream game audio without having to move over to Windows would be most appreciated.
Streaming a single screen is also something I would really love to see. At the moment you have two choices for the stream, either stream a window or stream all your screens at once. I do realize that this can be more annoying to do, and to me isn't the most important issue, but it would still be quite nice to see.

I paid Discord Nitro and was very upset today when I found out that no one could hear the YouTube video I was shared but I could hear theirs. It's really something that Discord should disclose about since this was the only reason why I purchased Nitro.

Better compatibility with the browser version (no download/in-browser) for all browsers currently in use would be the more likely approach to eliminating issues / increasing features on any platform while minimizing coding needed. Right now, on the Xbox (Xbox Edge Browser), the in-browser client fails to load the website properly. This causes the website to just spin the loading icon forever... Wished this would get fixed. UWP would the BEST way to include it on Xbox - While we are talking about compatibility and inclusion to Discord across platforms.

I'm also using Discord on Linux.
Similarly, I feel that the Linux version of Discrod lacks some features.
In particular, I would like to be able to deliver a selected screen.

You can use v4l2loopback and ffmpeg to cast your screen to a fake webcam and stream your desktop that way.
Didn't use much cpu when I tried it. I assume hardware encoding was working.
