Idk why I’m here but I’m left with nothing else. I recently got a new phone and I usually use the authy on it, and all the data was supposed to transfer, but the data for my authentication did not. I logged out of my main account and wanted to get back in, but to my dismay, I was not able to. I tried and tried to look for my backup codes, or try to guess my authorization code, but I couldn’t. And I see on the posts that you can’t get back in to an account with 2FA unless you have your sms connected. I think it’s really dumb that you cannot get back into your account with 2FA, even with access to the email. They should have stated that and I’m am really annoyed because I had a lot of chat exp and friends on that account for almost 3 years. I hope discord will recognize that you should be able to acces your account with 2FA only with your email because it is really aggravating and has made my view of discord sincerely decline.
