All servers should have access to an “Enable Events” option, which can be accessed by permitted roles and users, that allows non-stage events to be created and posted in an “Events” tab. Users can also be granted or denied permission to see scheduled events. Times, descriptions, and other details can be included. Great for all sorts of things like developer streams, QnA’s, DND nights, stream schedules, game tournaments—the list goes on.

  This also removes the need for @everyone’s and other annoying notifications, and creates a separate menu that is easy to spot by all members without having to navigate long lists of text channels.
