Whatever you are doing with the new features you added today, it's bogging down my computer, nearly crashing my browser and ramping up my cpu fan. Please don't bloat this app.

    This is seriously bad. I can't be having my computer overheating every time I want to be logged in discord.

    hi there! are you able to list your PC specifications? mine isn't all that beefy and yet i can run discord + many other apps at the same time without any sort of issue.

    here's my setup for comparison.

    edit: i forgot to mention that i am also running discord as an application on my 500 GB SSD, not via a browser like Google or Firefox.

    wtf, you say yours isn't all that beefy? It's 2 to 3x more specs than mine is.

    It's running better today. It was just when the new features popped up and I got those alerts. After that some script must have got hung up and was going nuts for a while when I had it open.

    spectrum haha, no really - it isn't that strong, especially compared to both my parents' rigs. though i'm glad to hear things are working better today!
