  To set a profile color, open Discord on desktop, and follow these steps:

  1. Click the cog icon (User Settings) in the bottom left.
  2. Click Edit profile.
  3. Beneath Profile Color, the default color is selected. This is automatically determined by the colors of your avatar. To change this, click Custom.
  4. Use the color picker to choose a new color. Alternatively, enter a specific hex code.
  5. Click Save Changes.
