Blocking

Will we ever get a true block feature? 

The current one is easily the worst block feature I have ever seen on any social media site. The fact that the other person can still see your messages completely defeats the purpose of blocking them. 

Not to mention the "X blocked messages" is obnoxious. If I block someone I don't want to know that they are there talking. The point of blocking someone is so I never have to see them again, and yet, there they are, still in my face.
