Are you kidding me... how can someone at discord be this inept...

I just ran into the same issue. I don't understand how this feature could ever be of benefit without allowing the use of one phone number on multiple accounts. I would like to be able to have a work and personal account on discord but I don't have two phones.

Yeah. They should at least allow you to reuse a number after waiting a certain amount of time, up to a year. Two per year would be good, too, as well as a voicemail call option. It's really dumb that this is not the case
