Discord Android app reconnects to last voice channel automatically

Every other time I open the discord andoid app it automatically reconnects me to the last voice channel I was in, even if I pressed the disconnect button, closed the app, or force closed the app. Not sure what causes it. Very annoying. Samsung Galaxy S10+
