discord support SUCKS! why is there no phone number?
my account was recently hacked, and i've been trying to contact discord for the past 3 days. nothing. the only thing they wrote back was a shit*y "we're so sorry this happened" message that didn't help me in the slightest. the hacker said that if i didn't pay him in a week, he'd get my account deleted. i told discord this, and guess what? no sense of urgency, nothing. just like all their other issues, they slap bandaids solutions on them to hope that their problems will be solved. well discord, they aren't. and im not supporting them anymore.
i've been paying for nitro for the past year or so, but honestly, if i even get my account back after this, i'm surely not paying for nitro again. if discords customer service is THIS bad, i'm sure as hell not going to financially support it. i'm only going to start paying for nitro again if:
1) they add a damn phone line so people can get help instantly.
2) improve their wait times for responses, because 3 days is wayy too long, especially when your account is on the line.
honestly, i'm not even mad at discord, i'm just disappointed. i expected that a multi billion dollar company wouldn't cheap out on such an essential part of its company.
