About discord punishments

Could somebody explain to me how the punishment system works on discord ? Do people get instantly permanently banned if they break a rule or do they get temporary bans which follow up by a permanent ban, do people even get warnings and if they do then how are they issued, via dms or gmail ? I've been on discord for many years and want to know more about it.

  You can use bots, they can help you for "punish" the troublemakers, there are a lot like Dyno, MEE6, YAGRDB and more, you can find them by searching on Google or something, I hope I helped you.

  Regarding the Discord TOS and Community Guidelines, it is up to Discord what kind of punishment you receive, but from the wording, it seems to imply less serious rule breakages would result in less punishment, and vice versa. As to the delivery system, I am unaware, however Discord does have a special user account for sending messages to users, so it is likely that warnings can be issued over Discord.
