can we get an option (like any ones e-mail has) to mark my messages as unread so I can remember to revisit them later

  If you are on PC - press the 3 dots that pappears next to the message from which you want to mark unread. The 3rd one down from the top is mark as unread.

  On mobile it's the same except instead of 3 dots menu, you have to hold down on the message from which you want to mark as unread

  In the future try looking around to see if a thing like that exists before asking the devs to implement something that already exists

  @EndyDiD You replied 1 year after the post. Have you thought that when the original post was made, that feature was not available? Also, currently, one year after your post,  this feature is not available. And how do you know that this person did try looking around but couldn't find it? It's not like there's a user friendly manual for Discord.
