Grant privilege to a role to mention only a list of other roles (1 or more)

Let's say we have a Epic RPG bot within a certain channel (Epic RPG channel), and there's a specific role that is accessible for any players who want to receive notifications/mentions about the game via reaction roles (lets say Epic RPG role).

I want to grant privilege for a specific set of active players (non admins/mods) to ping that role only, in a safe fashion.

Currently there are three ways to achieve that:

1 - Leave this role mentionable for everyone (which would be really bad, specially when your server is targeted by spam bots)

2 - Create another role (let's say EPIC RPG HELPER), granting it abillity to mention all roles within Epic RPG channel. This would grant it power to mention @everyone too, which isn't ideal.

3 - Create the same role as suggestion 2 above, but turning the Epic RPG channel only visible only for people who have the role Epic RPG role. This is the safest option, but will turn down the channel's engagement since it'll become private.

The ideal option (and the actual suggestion) would be: let the EPIC RPG HELPER have the ability to mention ONLY this specific Epic RPG role (and maybe a list of other selected roles, but got to be configurable).
