Number linked to another account

My number is apparently being used on another account. I've emailed Discord several times with NO response, I sent them a message on twitter, they gave me instructions on how to get my number off this other account and then when I tried their advised method, they proceeded to disable my account. 

I emailed again and they asked for a screenshot, which I sent them. I'm still waiting for a response since the 9th of January. It's absolutely ridiculous

  I have the same thing, but I deleted the other account and am waiting for it to be perm deleted so I can use the phone number.

  May I ask how you deleted the other account? I don't even know the account details that my number is assigned to. When I enter my number it says the account has been disabled...

  I am having the same problem!  And no reply from Discord Support despite multiple messages.

  I am suddenly being asked the verify as part of my login ... and when I go through the steps, the text message I get from Discord says: "An existing Discord account is already using this number. Please remove it before it can be used with a new account."

  I believe that existing account the message is referring to is MY account.  This text message does not make sense since the verification steps are not for a new account but verifying myself for MY existing account.  It seems to be confused thinking I am trying to verify a new account when the steps I am asked to do are to verify my current account.

  Any suggestions?  How to fix this issues with the telephone number?
