What is discord to me? discord is basically messages, but on a larger and more user friendly basis. I have a few revolutionary ideas that will change the way many people feel about discord, for the better. Note: these ideas will probably be more compatible with pc users.

my ideas:

make discord the hub for everything. make it so that you can see feeds or direct updates from other sites, such as twitch, reddit, or twitter. after all, isn’t it a gaming media?

make discord a hub for the device itself. have you seen the new apple home screen? you can add widgets to the home screen, much like my previous idea. for this new one, make it so that you can direct launch or edit the function (change what an app is doing) directly from discord. for example, make it so you can run a spotify song from discord. you might think, why cant i just open Spotify? this is where discord would be key: organization is everything. now you dont have to open another window to change your song. 

another non-similar idea: add more non-nitro user functions. i have nitro, but i’ve noticed that my friends who dont have nitro dont have nearly as many functions as i do. i know its how you make money, but these people carry discord as well. cater to them as equally as you cater to us nitro users.

with these ideas, you could basically turn discord into a browser or even an operating system for devices. i believe that it can evolve massively with these ideas, or variations of them. Imagine a place where this could be reality.
