Why is response time for staff so long?
My main account was compromised, and they spent a lot of money from the PayPal account connected to it. This happened on Wednesday, and (for me), it is now Sunday, with still 0 response from Discord staff regarding this issue. Note that the person who compromised the account still has access to it, and is impersonating me, scamming others. This could have been resolved with little to no money spent by the compromiser if the response time for requests was quicker. Discord staff should have a better system for managing this, eg. reversion link when email or password for an account is changed, sent in emails. When my account was compromised I was sent two emails, one stating my email was changed, and one stating my password was changed, I had 2fa, however, it was bypassed (sad). For the password, It said to reset the password when you put it in your email, however, the email was also changed, and in that email, they said if you did not do that, send a request. Okay, so I sent a request. 0 interaction by any staff of that interaction yet. The person still has access to my main account and is scamming others on my account. They spent (Again) hundreds of USD from the day of the compromisation to a couple of days afterwords.

They care more about scamming people for NFT's currently than actually helping their community combat hackers.

Yeah and I just hate the NFTs, NTFs is just do with stupid picture like monkey, what does that art pictures have to do with NFT? If discord care about scamming people then why is there many peoples didn't get recovery from email because they ghost us.

That's why the hacks are more prevalent because Discord does nothing to mitigate it fast enough, they don't investigate fast enough and their response time leaves more and more people falling into the trap.
As far as Discord doesn't do anything, the hackers will realise this and get smarter, it's inevitable that at some point there will be enough damage done and will destroy communities and it'll be extremely hard to make newer friends even, killing the social aspect that Discord offers.
They're ruining their own company.

i agree, they literally dont care. any responses is likely responses from clyde the bot, or copy and paste answers that doesnt answer the problem, and doesnt solve it. and the ticket is closed without it ever being solved in the first place.

I've literally seen people say the hackers are closing the tickets???
How the f are they able to do that when the E-Mail to my account has been changed and there's no accounts linked to it?I've been updating the original ticket with proof my friends have been sending almost every few hours to make sure Discord knows I'm very serious about it. But the fact that they've left me in the dust worries me that the hacker is possibly able to close my tickets somehow? WTF

I've been waiting 11 days.. I won't wait longer. I have no idea why my account got locked. I've never do anything what was sent in a "ban e-mail" as a possible ban reason. Just answer my ticket, please.

I have created 30 support tickets and 3 are open and 27 are solved.
I acknowledge of the wrongdoing that I did and made my final decision that I won't be doing stuff like this ever again.I really want a real Trust And Safety person to come look at my issue.

Just give up, Support and Trust and Safety is literally trash and they won't give you your account cuz it was "justifiable".
The reason why Support keeps closing your Ticket is because they don't want to do anything and don't care about their users.

Discord needs to be held accountable for this falsely disabling our accounts and also taking a very long time to respond to our tickets this is just very unacceptable and I'm really mad about this

I think their automation just flags people in masses by mistake and now we get to deal with this long delays.

I created a ticket 4 days ago i got a response that I was being transferred to a different team for them to look at afterwards I got an automated response 2 days later. I responded to the automated message with the info that it asked however I'm still waiting to hear back. Look at this forum is really scaring me. I got hacked 4 days ago because i fell for the fake game that is malware scam. I really hope I'm able to get a response soon I paid for nitro for an entire year in august and I've had this account since 2016 so it means a lot to me. Hopefully the discord support can get to everyone while also finding ways to combat these scams

Hey there Magmarock64 unfortunately I still haven't heard back from discord Trust and safety team my situation was a bit more complicated since the hackers had created a fake account on my main email after switching the email on my main. Due to this I had to wait 14 days to go through discords automated deletion process to free up my email again since they can only recover the account back ot the original email. However it has now been over 12 days since that has happened and I still have yet to hear anything back. I hope they get to me soon would be the best Christmas present I could ask for I just want my account back
I do know the friend whos account was hacked that messaged me and got me hacked now has their account back which is a relief and gives me some hope. I don't want to even risk trying to send a message on my ticket to check in because I'm scared it will throw me all the way at the bottom of the que once again I have no option except to wait. I'm at the mercy of discord trust and support but as someone who pays for nitro every year I hope they'll respect me as a user and help me
