Account hacked on the 6th of January. it's been one month, 2 weeks.
I've provided evidence that I am [or was, anyway] the original owner of the account. I've even provided my 2FA phone number which was linked to it, something I was lucky enough to have signed up for prior to my account being taken over by a phishing scam/false impersonator.
Despite showing them four screenshots of me signing up for their service, interactions between my clients and the person impersonating me, an IPS change from US to Vietnam where I don't live, and even my own clients e-mailing them themselves that my account is no longer out of my control-- "Sorry, we don't believe you."
So for one month while my friends, family, business clients are on Discord were all getting duped by the person now taking over my account, they responded to me now - on Valentine's Day of all days - "Nah, this isn't enough. Sorry."
The fact that Steam, on the same night of the attack, was able to recover my account in less than an hour but Discord sat around playing paper football is mind-boggling. Understaffed or not, this is all a very serious situation and should be handled promptly and swiftly. Not, 'haha nah, let's go post memes on our Twitter.'

Couldn't agree more. Same boat here except I've yet to get a response one way or another yet.

They claim to be reached out on Twitter, but I was on there for about 2 weeks trying to get ahold of them. No response. My clients who unfortunately got scammed [not sure if by the person who took my account or through other means] and some friends on my list have either gotten their accounts back within a few hours to a few days. I don't know what the difference is between me and them that leaves me out in the dust. It's gonna be two months now.
At this point I miss AIM and Yahoo IM and Skype for such a company that can't get it's !@#$ together lol.

Well, the account got deleted. Not quite what I wanted but it'll suffice.
I wish I could confront Discord for the mental and business damage this has caused me. I don't even think Discord had a hand in deleting the account and the hacker simply chose to do it themselves.
Thanks for nothing, Discord staff. Over a month ago we could've prevented my clients from being duped into thinking the hacker was me, but it sat on your 'to do' list for so long, I feel like I did 95% of the work for you.
