Feature Request: Implement Better Feedback System

This is a bit of a meta request, but this forum based system for feedback and feature requests seems to foster duplicate posts as opposed to actually concentrating user feedback in a way that provides useful metrics. Example: I attempted to request a feature and I couldn't find similar posts until I went to make a brand new post - only to find many had requested the same feature but the upvotes had been spread across multiple duplicate requests. I suggest that it would be better to move off of a joined feedback/support/request based system to something more ticket based or at least better at focusing user feedback in a useful manner.
