Posting again, Discord Trust and Safety are the least transparent group of support employees and it really shows how scummy Discord can be.
Normal support employees are fantastic helping as soon as they can, always explain what they need and what they'll do for you. Trust and Safety? The moment your ticket is transferred to them you get absolutely no feedback whatsoever and it's like pulling teeth to get a single answer out of them. Pretty disgusting behavior, Discord is blatantly not a company to be trusted but we've all known that since the previous scandals with them. Any sort of plans to actually become an ethical and transparent company in the future that cares about its users or are you still going to use the route of "shadow company that bans users for literally nothing or falsified reasons and hides behind a veil of obscurity"?

They get an ungodly amount of requests I'd imagine so I assume they only earnestly deal with the major ones. Discord is for sure flawed though. Would be nice if all corporations would be held accountable more often, especially software providers.

I'll give you an example of why I call Discord T&S the least trustworthy bunch of support employees. I had a problem with a phone number I wanted to add to my account, support was trying to be helpful and transferred me to Trust and Safety because they couldn't help. Trust and Safety just immediately tried to close the ticket without even introducing themselves or explaining a single thing. I'm assuming my provider is on some sort of blocked list or something but either way completely unprofessional behavior and not something T&S should be doing. Transparency is key if they want people to trust them and they're hiding basically every action they take in T&S.

My account was disabled for TOS violation despite me not being active for days. They refused to tell me why and every time I appealed they ignored and closed the ticket. This is without a doubt the worst customer support I have ever seen in my life from a website. I have never been able to contact a human being from Discord staff and only get bots and silence. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior from such a large company. I had my account for years before they shut it down without warning or reason and they keep doing it over and over again. I'm so frustrated and sad over this. I'm sorry you have to go through the same thing I did. Discord staff, if you are reading this, DO BETTER!!!
