Official Discord Support for Linux
Good Morning,
I would like to please submit the suggestion to officially support LInux with the Discord App. This suggestion comes from ticket 23706077 in which I was notified that there is no official Discord support for Linux.
Gaming platform Steam by Valve has recently released a new console, SteamDeck which runs a Linux KDE distribution called SteamOS, with Arch Linux as its base. This is a major step in making Linux a widely used gaming platform.
I my self use Kubuntu, an Ubuntu supported KDE distribution. Due to Valve's Windows compatibility layer, called Proton, roughly 95% of my gaming library is now supported on Linux in which just a couple years ago, less than 20% worked.
Due to the inevitable rise of Linux gamers, on top of Discord being used as the primary communications platform for most gamers, I would like to recommend that Discord adds a Linux support department. Currently I am experiencing 2 linux bugs that were listed in the support ticket above, and I was unable to get assistance with the issues.
I have personal reasons why I would not like to use a Windows computers, as do most Linux users. Some of which includes Microsoft's abhorrent privacy policy and anti-competitive practices (see Mozilla's battle with Microsoft on making anything but Edge a default browser.
Thank you for your time.

Unfortunately, Discord is very much OS-cist against any and all GNU/Linux distributions and will only ever support hardcore bugs that'd outright stop Discord from launching on a distro, maybe. And while I would absolutely love official god-given support from the creatures at Discord HQ, they won't; they haven't for 2+ years, and have outright ignored highly suggested issues such as the obvious sound-streaming issue, with the user base putting in more effort to 'solve' the issue as best they could with more effort than Discord has ever put into even looking at GNU/Linux itself :( .
