Copying and pasting text from Google Docs is treated like a file suddenly, and never sends

After the most recent update to the Android app, I can no longer paste text from Google Docs to any chat in Discord. When I attempt to copy/cut and paste any text from Docs it pastes as a compressed file, like I'm trying to send an image or something. Very strange. And it will literally never actually send, but just sit there saying, "compressing 0%" for eternity. (Chosing to paste as "plain text" gives the same result, before anyone suggests trying that.) This is extremely inconvenient since I use Discord as a home for text-based roleplays and story telling, and prefer to type out lengthy messages on Google Docs before sending them in Discord channels, since I can't often finish a reply in a single sitting and don't want to risk losing what I have already written when I have to close the app for a bit, or if something happens to crash unexpectedly. I get that this is a pretty biased issue and not one that inconveniences the masses, but what irritates me is that it wasn't an issue at all before the most recent update, and seems like a completely pointless change in the first place. Please undo this. It makes absolutely zero sense.
