I submitted a ticket when I noticed they broke this functionality: The response I got was from someone that apparently thought I didn't understand how this feature worked: they told me to go to android settings app. I would not have opened a support ticket if it was working. I don't think the  developers even realize they broke this, so hopefully this gets some attention.

Ditto. Not everyone can afford a flagship, and Discord eats up more than half a gig of internal memory on my phone!

    Actually, here's a workaround:

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Scroll all the way down and go to Developer Options. (If you don't have this, go to About Phone/Device > Software Information and tap "Build number" seven times.)
    3. Scroll down to the Apps section, around three-fourths of the way down.
    4. Tick "Force allow apps on external".

And you should be able to move Discord (as well as Google Docs, Firefox and other usually nonmovable apps) to your SD card! 🤩

The Force Allow Apps option was only made available in Nougat (Android 7.0+), but I feel that's old enough for everyone to pass that limit by now.
