Fast delete

I agree with a lot of people that the new mobile discord is bad for a number of reasons, however one I didn't notice was the mentioning of the terrible idea of needing to confirm deleting messages on mobile. On PC it's annoying but you can just hold shift and skip the need for confirmation, this is not an option on mobile. Nowhere could I find a way to skip this, not in the settings and not as any other pop up option after holding press on a message. I luckily deal with few trolls and spammers in my server after some added hurdles to join however, if I came across one again, I would have difficulty hiding possibly traumatizing images quickly. If it was a spammer then they would definitely be able to post faster than I can delete, I am aware of timeouts but my points stands for other times and the annoyance of it being any longer than it had to be.

    I suppose an option just like then you're opening a link "Trust this Domain" could be done for this, I suppose putting "Don't ask me again" in the Delete Message pop up, that is mirrored in the settings, or just putting it in the Setting alone would be a sufficient fix, but the trend with apps sadly seems to be removing options to make the settings simpler and easy to navigate, which is quite the opposite of a reasonable solution for things.

    I also suggest you to get a bot with purge function in this case, you can usually target that user's messages you want to purge and how many of them, makes it a safer and more reliable solution for servers than manually deleting message after message.

    Hey Uzy, that's exactly what I think they should do, also I use a bot that can purge, my issue with that is it doesnt show the purged messages in the server logs if I wanted to go back and look at it for any reason.

    Ah so you have a bot set up that logs the manually deleted messages, edited messages, etc. in some channel I take it? Yea, in that case it's really tough, apart from programming a bot yourself there really isn't any way to make it better other than devs giving you the option.
