Screen timing out during mobile call

I am 100% sure it isn't just me. But the latest Android update has made rendered calling through phone useless. I am not trying to be harsh or an a-hole. I know the discord team work hard but I am just being honest.

Before the massive overhaul, if you were on the call screen, your phone screen wouldn't turn off, thus meaning if you wanted to stay 7 hours in a call you could and it would be fine.

The latest update for the sake of power consumption (I assume) has removed that feature. Well phones naturally after the screen turn off slowly go to sleep, which means you get disconnected from the call.

Please fix this.

  Try the following way surely you will get some results. 
  
  

  1. From a Home screen, tap Phone (lower-left).
  2. Tap Menu Menu icon.
  3. Tap Call settings or Settings.
  4. If needed, tap Call on the settings page.
  5. Tap Turn off screen during calls to enable or disable.
  6. Enabled when a checkmark is present.
